Introduction

Land! Good free land! In 1854, the new territory of Kansas is just waiting to be carved up into farms for anyone who wants it. Anyone? "No!" Shouts the farmers from the North. "No slaves in the territories!" "Why not?" protests the farmers." They were my property. Where I go, my property goes!"
